DURABILITY: 4 On the one hand, the canvas and frame can take a stupendous battering and even if a strike cuts the webbing, it is minor. But the stitching is with such weak thread that shots hitting near seams, split it. I have had to sew it with stout thread, many times again and again. Supplied discs are thin plastic and do not last. VALUE FOR MONEY: 6 You have to respect the costs of individual importation, yet the badly-fitting frame and disintegrating sewn thread seams do make it seem costly for what it is. A UK shop would have had a return. FEATURES: 8 A clever little tied-off baggie to gather the ammo, sit-on-ability and the side pockets do make this a cool accessory. BUILD QUALITY: 6 The annoying thing is that the frame is seriously strong, just the wrong size. The canvas is stout, yet sewn with rubbish thread. This is easy to fix. OVERALL: 6.4 This is a tragically woeful score for what aughta have been an easy 8.4, had the frame fitted, and the sewing been strong. Still good features and great fun if you are happy to sew it back together..and spend on extending the Velcro connectors. CONCLUSION & SCORES I really like the product, I like the design and I love the flexible use for paper as well as hanging targets. I am upset at the low strength sewing job, though. This results in a shockingly low quality product for the cost and represents a maker’s saving so small as to be absurd. Proper stout thread would have cured it, as the fabric is serious. And sort out the frame size so it fits into the bag as it is made? Or just check them? Because had that not been a slow boat back to China, no retailer anywhere could have avoided me sending it back. It is not a cheap item but if those two points were fixed, it could be a brilliant one, instead of a “be-tolerant-it’s-a-bit-gone-wrong” - thing. Very simple: You need a stout container of a sufficient size to make a hole in wide enough that you are likely to hit it - and also some stuff to hang up inside, like old towels or tee shirts and some paracord or wire. Folks have used wooden boxes or plastic ones, with many cutting up old wheelie bins or water butts. Make sure the material is not bouncy or brittle if possible. I can do terrible fliers, so mine is clad in a foam used for sound proofing. Always site the catch box with a decent back stop or set up to stop ammo carrying on past the shooting zone - like a shed -with no windows! The main thing is then to hang a cord or wire across the inside, far enough in to allow space behind it for the cloth layers you will need to hang up behind that, to stop the ammo’s power and to allow it to spin a spinner like heck. You have just got to make that suspension a tight one. If you can design a ball-return system, now that would be a thing! Water butt, Paracord, WASP Spinners, old tee shirts...
