NEW Summer event! The old England Slingshot Federation is all but a spent force but they are trying to fix things. Basically, a lad named Levi is running the whole shebang after the effective withdrawal of the old management. I have refrained from making a negative post about it, up to now, and they have now fixed a Summer event for this year, complete with an acknowledgement that things needed fixing. The last one was badly publicised and just thirty-odd shooters went, with less than ten folks sticking around for the results, I was told. A whippet dog race meet used to get more than that in the next field, when the ESF tourney was held in a field behind a pub in Andover!
SO, I am glad to be able to announce that the Summer event below is planned.

Especially as they are doing something pro-active here!
NOTE that the old page is still rotting here, with its historical 2,800 likes and 3,000 followers. It has not had current event information on it, since 2024: https://www.facebook.com/ESFtournaments It will take some real effort to regain the lost ground for the new profile, I feel…

Meanwhile, the rising star in the scene is the new one run mostly by Daran Grinbergs, with the crucial support of some of the most stalwart slingshooters around. THIS is their event, held in the beautiful rocky hills near Harrogate. (Bizarrely with the fastest 5G telephonic connection I have ever witnessed, incidentally – great for live streaming!)
