In advance of launch day we have a couple of videos out, from ‘Can Vandal’ on YouTube. He is a proper catapult enthusiast and you aughta go check his channel out. He has had a pre-release ‘go’ of the Slant Roller, the Roller Pro version in CNC’d ‘aloominum’ in its cute neoprene box and also the Stylus Revolve models. I was jealous as hell.. and have to admit he has the video skills, the shooting skills and the real estate to make cool videos!

In the meanwhile the date is the 2nd September with a large giveaway of one example of every single model, due to happen on the Simpleshot website. That’s sixteen we are told. So far we have seen five colours of the small form-factor pocketable Slant Roller as well as five colours of the Stylus Revolve. There is also a new PRO version of the Slant Roller, to be called Slant Roller Pro, in anodised CNC milled aluminium. That will arrive in a neoprene box.
That adds up to eleven so far, thus five more to be given away? Hmmmm… After launch we now know that each PRO Model comes in gunmetal or black anodised, making it two each of three pro models, as there are two more clipped models after the Wrap-and-Tuck Slant Roller Pro. They are a clip version of the Slant, called Slant Press Pro and a clip version of the Stylus, dubbed the Stylus Keeper Pro.
They are all OTT designs. Moulded models are $30. The Slant Roller Pro with no clips is $80 and the clip-equipped Slant Press and Stylus Keeper Pro models are $100.
